Reprogram the subconscious mind requires a period of time, it might take you a really long time to successfully control your subconscious to achieve what you want. Intelligent and successful leaders are all constantly asking themselves questions to stay relevant and insightful. To get your targets in the fastest way, you should always remind yourself about that purpose by asking yourself some of these questions daily.

Using Questions To Explore Your Purpose

As well as using questions for the more “mundane” realizations such as your daily to-dos and what could have gone better, you can also use deeper questions to truly get to know yourself and your purpose.

With our subconsciouses being so programmed with everything we have been taught by those around us and society as a whole, it can be difficult to truly know our own wants and beliefs outside of all the noise.

Deeper self-reflection questions can help us get to know ourselves so that we can start going after the lives we really want and pursue goals that will make us feel fulfilled because they are aligned with us on a soul level. 

1. Am I a little better than yesterday?

You know you are progressing if you are a little better today than who you were yesterday. Instead of comparing yourself with others and falling prey to envy, jealousy and despair, try to become a little better every day.

2. What motivated me today?

Motivation is the force that keeps pushing you forward. It is your internal drive to achieve, produce, and develop–and it’s always to your benefit to pay attention to the things that feed your personal motivation.

3. Have I been the kind of person I want to be?

Character rules. You’re not born with the qualities that make up your character, but they develop as you go through your experiences, your failures, and your wins. Govern your sense of responsibility and responses to events to develop the character you’d like to have.

4. Did I give my best at work?

Ask yourself that: Did you feel excited about going to work today? Did you put all your heart and enthusiasm into work? If no, find out what is hindering you from doing so and resolve it. A satisfying day at work will elevate your mood.

5. What could I have done better today?

Always remind yourself to do better tomorrow with these questions: What lessons can you learn from the day’s experiences? What mistake did you make that you will avoid in the future? How could you have handled a situation or conversation better? Think about ways to improve in this area in the future.

6. Did I work toward my goals today?

Successful leaders understand the importance of goal-setting in everything from long-term vision to short-term motivation. Focusing on your goals helps you to organize your actions and make the most of your ambition and aspirations.

7. What mistakes did I make today, and what can I learn from them?

We all experience failures and mistakes; it’s how you respond that makes the difference. You can choose to see failure as proof of your inadequacy or recognize it as an incredible learning experience.

8. What is it the most important (not urgent) that I do?

Here is a distinction is given to us by several of the human performance greats. Learn to separate the important from the urgent, and focus more on the important.

Which parts of your day require your total presence? Who is it important that you come through for? How can you reduce nonimportant, nonurgent junk from your life?

9.  What is the most important thing I must accomplish tomorrow?

What is the single task which will make the biggest difference? If you have a to-do list then this item will be on there,  probably at the top. Think about how you are going to get this done early in the day. This question will help you focus on what is essential.

10. What small steps can I take to show that I am serious about loving myself?

If you haven’t learned to love yourself yet, I recommend that you make it a priority now. I love myself in a whole heap of ways: yoga, reducing time with negative people, turning off notifications so I can work.

I believe that life is a gift. Life itself is extraordinary. We can choose to make a sincere effort to live life to the fullest every single day. These are just a few daily questions that can take you in the direction of creating an extraordinary life.
